Vasculitis UK Annual General Meeting - 10th May

The 2015 Annual General Meeting of Vasculitis UK will be held on Sunday 10th May.

On this occasion the venue has been changed as the previous hotel is not available that weekend.

The new venue is The Village Hotel, Brailsford Way Chilwell, Nottingham, NG9 6DL. The hotel about a 20 minute drive from Junction 25 of the M1. The nearest airport is East Midlands International (10 miles); and the nearest train station is Beeston & Longeaton Station (2 miles).

Dr Peter Lanyon ( Consultant Rheumatologist Nottingham University Hospitals; Chair, NHS England Clinical Reference Group for Specialised Rheumatology) ( President Elect for the British Society of Rheumatology ) Dr Fiona Pearce ( Specialised Registrar East Midlands Deanery)

"Vasculitis - How can we improve patient care?"

Topics covered will include a discussion of current knowledge about who develops vasculitis and why, the tests doctors use to establish diagnosis and monitor treatment response (and their limitations) and the steps NHS England is taking to try and promote improvements in care and enable equitable access to drug treatment.

There is no charge for attending this meeting but any contribution towards the cost of the buffet and coffee will be greatly appreciated. We need to know numbers for catering purposes.
