On 5th June 2026, the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) announced that they are starting a review of the ‘benefits and risks of avacopan’. (Statement here).
Whilst the review is ongoing, it is recommended that you do not stop taking Avacopan. If you have any concerns, you should speak to the healthcare professional who prescribes your medication.
